Job Summary:
As a Marketing Manager at The Assembly Events, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategy for HairCon and Craftworks. This position requires a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for live events. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns to drive attendance, increase brand awareness, and foster engagement within our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for HairCon and Craftworks to meet organisational objectives.
Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
2. Brand Management:
Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing channels.
Collaborate with internal teams to maintain brand integrity and enhance brand recognition.
3. Digital Marketing:
Create and execute digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
Utilise SEO and SEM strategies to optimise online presence and drive traffic to event websites.
4. Content Creation:
Lead the development of compelling and relevant content for various marketing channels, including blogs, social media, and press releases.
Collaborate with design teams to create visually appealing and effective marketing collateral.
5. Event Promotion:
Implement targeted promotion strategies to increase event attendance and engagement.
Work closely with the sales team to create promotional materials and incentives for sponsors and exhibitors.
6. Analytics and Reporting:
Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, providing regular reports and insights.
Use data-driven insights to optimise marketing strategies and improve ROI.
7. Budget Management:
Set and implement marketing budgets and ensure KPIs are met.
Deliver a sales revenue based on a set ticket sales target.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in marketing roles, with a focus on event marketing (3 years +).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
