This is an opportunity to work in the busy Revenue and Payments Team as a Revenue Officer.
The primary responsibility of the role is to ensure accurate and timely collection of funds due to the Council for the provision of adult care services.
You must be able to use a range of computer applications; in particular you must have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, as you will be required to produce complex spreadsheets.
You must be able to accurately input, update and reconcile financial data. You must have the ability to interrogate and monitor systems to produce financial reports and management information.
A key element of the role is to manage income collection for adult care provisions that are jointly funded by the Council and the Health Service Integrated Care Board. This requires you to be an excellent communicator, able to liaise verbally and in writing with a range of external and internal colleagues.
You will need the ability to interpret legislation, policies and procedures and provide quality advice and guidance to service providers and service users.
You must be a confident decision maker who is committed to the role. You will work to tight monthly deadlines and must be able to work effectively under pressure.
You will be required to work both independently and as part of the team and must positively embrace change.
