Interim Hygiene Manager - Days Monday to Friday

Urgent interim hygiene manager role in this fast-paced organisation. You will be joining a great business with a small hygiene team. The role will be Monday to Friday days.
In a nutshell: You need to be an experienced hygiene manager who can find the root cause and drive the solution, leaving lasting improvements as your legacy. A visible presence, you will work closely with the factory team for this successful food processor.
The Role
1. Lead the hygiene team, driving improvements ensuring the day-to-day deadlines are met.
2. Review the hygiene systems, working with data to provide the correct insight to improve hygiene processes.
3. Be the subject matter expert on site, driving improvements through coaching, educating and providing insightful feedback.
4. Work in collaboration with health and safety, quality, and production.
5. Management of the department budget.
6. Ensure that Hygiene KPIs are measured, and actions reviewed and delivered.
7. Be a proactive presence in the business, identifying issues and driving change.

The ideal background for this role
1. Hygiene management experience in the food industry is essential.
2. Food hygiene Level 3, HACCP Level 3, CoSHH, IOSH, and Supervising Food Safety level 3.
3. Previous managerial experience.
4. Able to communicate clearly at all levels.
5. Strong organisation skills.
6. Decisive, able to reprioritise at speed.
7. Detailed understanding of cleaning processes.
8. Confident operator, able to build rapport with ease.
9. Good attention to detail for all audit preparation, training, and cleaning records.
