Role: Support Worker Location: Abingdon Salary: £11.75 plus excellent benefits Full time hours available Join our team Be a Support Worker with United Response in Abingdon Making it happen- Your Role You will be joining a team which supports people with learning disabilities. Our aim is to give the people we support as much control over their own lives as possible. This is a responsible role which is really varied, and extremely rewarding. The job is about giving people encouragement, guidance and support so they can live as independently as possible and have the freedom to make their own choices. On a daily basis, you may be involved in supporting people with the following activities: Cooking Cleaning Washing Managing finances Personal care Attending Doctors/ hospital appointments Shopping and socialising As part of your role, you will be using a digital app called Nourish, where all care and support plans of the people we support are held.
