Primary Responsibilities as a Child Protection Social Worker:
5. Providing a Social Work Service as lead professional to children and families, including looked after children and those on the Child Protection Register
6. Responsible for the professional assessment of client need and the consideration of available options and resources
7. Ensuring the implementation of child’s plans.
8. Maintaining accurate records including the input of information to Social Work Services database, in accordance with Highland Council Policy
9. The preparation of multi agency child’s plans for the Children’s Reporter, child’s plan meetings and reports for the Courts.
10. The post holder may be required to undertake any other duties appropriate to the level of the post.
11. Preparing for supervision with the appropriate Practice Lead
12. Participation in multi-disciplinary meetings
What we are looking for in a Qualified Social Worker:
13. Social Work England registration
14. Eligible to work in the UK
15. Hold a full UK license
16. Post-qualified experience
17. Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
