Your new opportunity
Quarriers are currently on the look out for 2x full time Support Workers to join our fantastic Mearns View service supporting adults who have Autism. Both position are permanent contracts offering 39 hours per week. The service supports 3 males and their home is a purpose built bungalow with excellent facilities inside and out. You will be joining a team who are skilled in supporting adults with autism and passionate about supporting people to live full happy lives while achieve dreams and ambitions. You will support them in their daily lives and assist with cooking, cleaning, appointments, activities and hobbies. Some of the males love swimming and enjoy this as a regular activity. You will also assist with personal care depending on individual needs. Please note a driving licence is essential as some of the people supported have access to their own vehicle to enable them to travel to various places.

Working pattern: Mearns View offers a 3 week rolling rota for staff, which allows for forward planning and a better work life balance. A full time post typically consists of 3 x 13 hour shifts on a rotation. Sleepover shifts are paid at an hourly rate of £12.00.
