Job Purpose
The Project Manager is responsible for managing and leading projects with achieving financial, delivery, and customer satisfaction objectives across all phases of the project. This role will support both production and design and development projects with an emphasis on both short-term and long-term strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
2. Manage all phases of the project life cycle including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects.
3. Define and document project tasks and resource requirements.
4. Select and coordinate work of subcontractors working on various phases of the project (if applicable).
5. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope as well as changes to the project plan and status reports.
6. Track and control schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of project within time and budget.
7. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
8. Prepare for, administer, and document project meetings.
9. Provide direction and support to the project team.
10. Serve as the primary point of contact for external and internal project teams.
11. Administer construction contracts and obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
12. Monitor site and/or project safety and correct any safety violations or other reported deficiencies.
13. Minimize EnerSys' exposure and risk on the project.
Qualifications
1. 5+ Years of Project Management/Program/IT Management experience.
2. 5 Years of ERP or packaged software implementation experience.
3. B.S. in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering.
4. Strong analytical and reasoning ability required.
5. Knowledge/experience with multiple applications, technology, and database platforms is required.
6. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge / Experience
1. Experience with integration of acquisitions desirable.
2. Proficiency in a language other than English is highly desirable.
