Join our dynamic team as a Regional Building Surveyor at LiveWest, where you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our ever-expanding housing portfolio. In this exciting role, you will oversee the strategic management of our regional housing stock, collaborating closely with our Property Services teams, investment experts, and repair teams to ensure our homes meet the highest standards.
On a day-to-day basis, you will provide detailed resolutions and project management in respect of complex repairs and issues relating to our properties, taking into account customer requirements, value for money, and other factors. You will ensure liaison with customers, clients, and external agencies involved within specified projects, providing technical advice and guidance to both colleagues and customers as required and undertake site visits in order to monitor works.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide detailed resolutions and project management in respect of complex repairs and issues relating to our customers' properties.
2. Provide an informed surveying role with an acquired insight of the detailed knowledge of the housing stock working in close liaison with other departments.
3. Ensure liaison with customers, clients, and external agencies involved within specified projects, providing technical advice and guidance to both colleagues and customers as required. Undertake site visits in order to monitor works.

This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis and will be field-based in Camborne and the surrounding area.

About The Candidate
To be considered for the role of Regional Building Surveyor, you will be / have:
1. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage customers and communicate with them effectively and confidently.
2. Ideally have experience working in customers' properties.
3. Excellent building surveying experience.
4. Experience working at a similar level within an RSL, local or public authority, or private practice, involved in the asset management and surveying function.
5. Extensive domestic dwelling experience from a technical management perspective, demonstrating understanding of the built environment.
6. Educated to HND/HNC level or equivalent in a relevant field.
7. Demonstrates knowledge of health and safety legislation pertaining to management of housing and the construction industry including CDM.
8. Good level of literacy and numeracy.
9. Hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
