Customer Service Coordinator
£12.21 per hour
Shifts: 09:00am to 15:00pm Monday to Friday

GI Group are currently seeking a dedicated customer service coordinator on behalf of one of our food manufacturing clients based in Hyde, Manchester.
As a customer service coordinator, you will provide a professional and effective service to all of their customers with regards to the management of orders and will be the central point of contact for all customers regarding customer order management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Communicate at all levels sharing information, knowledge, instructions, advice, support, and understanding.
2. Develop a breadth of knowledge and understanding of the team, working with your colleagues in other departments and functions.
3. Carry out other duties that may reasonably be requested to ensure the efficient running of the business.
4. Support the Manager, assisting with development strategies which question current working practices with a view to continuously improve our methods.
5. Ensure accurate processing of daily EDI transmissions and manually input or scan orders.
6. Maintain all systems/tools required to process orders first time accurately and efficiently.
7. Act as a substitute when colleagues are absent.
8. Take ownership of issues and flag them as they arise.
9. Support the wider team through cross-business order processing support.
10. Undertake other ad-hoc duties as requested.
11. Apply problem-solving techniques to resolve operating problems and recommend improvements to maintain operation running costs at a planned level.
12. Ensure that all processes are carried out correctly/to standard, first time.
13. Be aware of all business requirements and understand the impact of their decisions.
14. Uphold a consistent approach to working procedures in line with all company policies, procedures, and best practices.
15. Work effectively in reducing errors to minimize costs.
16. Provide excellent customer service by building strong relationships at all levels of the business internally and externally.
17. Answer phones/email queries in a timely manner.
18. Provide functional reports on request.
Skills & Knowledge:
1. SAP Experience
2. Excellent Customer Service Skills
3. IT Literacy including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills at various levels - ability to assess individual customer needs
Hours of Work:
09:00am to 15:00pm - Monday to Friday
