Overview
All-encompassing marketing role focusing on PR, events and sponsorships, working closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager to manage multi-channel marketing and communication campaigns which are engaging, educating, raise awareness and generate revenue in line with the business objectives.
Salary: £32,000
The Role
1. Support and deliver marketing campaigns including budget and monthly performance analysis across all areas of ownership aligning with the brand and company communications strategy
2. Assist the Marketing and Communications Manager with campaign delivery, deadlines, budgets and strategic marketing planning
3. Work with agencies, contractors and the wider business stakeholders to generate blogs, news articles, award submissions etc which target key media titles, whilst staying up to date with daily news, online sources and competitor activity to identify hot topics
4. Support with the management of content and updates on our website
5. Assist the Marketing and Communications Manager with campaign delivery, deadlines, budgets and strategic marketing planning
6. Responsible for the smooth running of the workstreams for campaigns within this area such as accurate setting of copy design online, ensuring all campaigns are aligned and integrated across channels, whilst continuously looking to develop and trial new ideas to leverage our brand, PR and marketing opportunities
7. Lead the delivery/planning of external events in a timely fashion, professionally and within budget
8. Assist in building, managing and strengthening the brand by interpreting brand guidelines to write engaging copy and give creative direction
9. Identify, manage and deliver opportunities with our sponsors to leverage our position within the sector in line with our core objectives
10. Assist and support with any additional marketing activities outside of PR responsibilities
The Person
Qualifications and experience
11. Educated to degree level
12. Experience working within the private healthcare sector would be beneficial
13. 2-3 years of experience working in a marketing role, preferably in public relations or events
14. Ability to support, create and develop news and features for multi-layered campaigns and events
15. Experience with pitching features to journalists across a broad range of media and securing press coverage
16. Creative writing, media relations and strategic thinking
17. A good understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks
18. Understanding and experience using software packages competently, such as Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Mailchimp, Analytics, WordPress, Salesforce etc
