This post will be aligned with the NE Essex Autism Service and in future we hope that we can look towards developing a more comprehensive neurodevelopmental service. This post and service are the beginning of a journey to explore the potential for the development of neurodevelopmental services and within this a leadership/expert role. With this in mind, further development through the appraisal process and additional leadership/neurodevelopmental training can be considered with up to £6000, calculated pro rata, being available over a period of 2-3 years. Main duties of the job We are looking to recruit a job share for the psychology post in this MDT. This post is crucial in spanning the clinical delivery of psychological assessment and intervention for people with suspected ADHD who are not already known to secondary mental health services. The team integrates and work in partnership with local Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and NHS Talking Therapies to develop further support for individuals. There is a role for ongoing training and consultation to the PCNs, mental health and GP colleagues in secondary and primary care services as well as in the wider community.
