Business Development Manager (Security)
£35,000 - £40,000 plus Commission
Leeds (Hybrid Role)
As Business Development Manager, you will work closely with customers and the company management team to grow and promote the sale of Security & Facility Management services, generating new business opportunities, qualifying leads, developing long-term customer relationships, and implementing strategic plans. This department is the first line of contact mainly with all new customers and the company management team.
What You Will Do
1. Present, promote and sell services using solid arguments to our existing and prospective customers.
2. Develop profitable and sustainable sales growth through engagement with current and potential customers to meet their needs.
3. Perform B2B sales activities from lead generation through closure in the Security & Facility Management industry.
4. Prepare action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects within assigned sales region.
5. Open Tendering. Open tendering is shorthand for competitive bidding.
6. Maintain records of customer communications and contact information as required.
7. Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
8. Reach out to customer leads through some cold calling & networking.
9. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
10. Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
Requirements
1. Proven work experience in similar roles.
2. Experience in the Security Industry & Facility Management industry.
3. Excellent knowledge of MS Office & CRM tools.
4. Extensive knowledge in Open Tendering preferred.
5. Ability to persuade and influence others.
6. Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships.
