The resident services manager manages and supervises the domestic and laundry team and services, ensuring that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained at the Springdene homes in line with infection control best practice. In addition, they are responsible for procuring all necessary supplies for each of the three homes, and under the direction of the CEO schedule all routine servicing across the group.
Experience
* At least 5 years’ experience working in a management role in either a hotel or large care home.
* Experience of managing, supervising, and leading a team, including running communication meetings, mentoring, and training on the job, allocating work, providing feedback, and completing appraisals, supervision, induction and on-the-job training.
* Experience in managing multi-site teams.
* Strong IT skills including database software (preferably HR, Applicant Tracking and Rota Scheduling systems) and Microsoft Office – intermediate level.
