An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SEN Teaching Assistant at a welcoming two-form entry Mainstream Primary School in Yate. The school is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a small cohort of children with challenging behaviour and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to gain experience in education and training.
The Role
Supporting students with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and other additional needs
Helping manage challenging behaviour with confidence and a calm approach
Working closely with teachers and SENCO to create an inclusive learning environment
Providing one-to-one and small group support
Gaining valuable experience in education and trainingWhat We're Looking For
Experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant supporting students with SEN (SEMH, ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, etc.)
Team Teach training (highly desirable)
A degree (preferred) or strong GCSEs in Maths & English (C or above)
A passion for supporting children with additional needsWhy Apply
