Project Administrator - 1 to 2 Year FTC
Salary £30,000 circa
Based in Ladbroke Grove
Office based role, could include some hybrid working after completion of probation.
A unique community charity based in West London is looking for a Project Administrator to support them with a new ongoing project plan. You will support them with the implementation of projects, administration, and effective communication across teams. Your role will involve scheduling meetings, taking action points, tracking project actions, data reporting and more.
Duties include:
1. Work closely with at least three senior managers who will oversee your projects. You'll need strong time management skills to balance varying workloads, anticipate project demands, and manage expectations effectively.
2. Take on the secretarial function for the Safer Neighbourhood Board, working directly with the Chair. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings, preparing and distributing documents, booking venues, taking minutes, and coordinating follow-ups.
3. Support two key initiatives - a new Economic Development Project and an Archiving Project - each for at least one day per week. Play an active role in setting up these projects, working alongside project managers and community members to handle meeting documentation, information sharing, data collection, invoice processing, and general project administration.
4. Foster strong communication and collaboration within project teams, ensuring smooth information flow and positive working relationships.
5. Be a valued member of the project delivery team, upholding the Trust's values and adhering to policies on Equal Opportunities, Safeguarding, Health & Safety.
Experience required:
1. Experience in project administration, including scheduling, taking action points, and action tracking.
2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise demands, manage multiple deadlines effectively and a keen eye for detail.
3. Proficient IT skills, ability to gather information and report meaningful outputs.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce reports, presentations and other key communications.
5. Experience in research, data collection, and reporting to support project outcomes.
