Are you passionate about supporting and encouraging change? We are looking to recruit a Performance Officer to provide and lead where necessary in managing, developing, and supporting changes as well as ensuring business as usual for all services across Housing Investment & Asset Management.
This is an exciting time to join Brighton & Hove City Council within the Housing Investment & Asset Management Team. We have lots of work to do to create a sound platform for independent compliance and performance management structures. Though much has already been achieved, much still needs to be done to improve performance which will ensure the successful delivery of projects that teams need to manage.

About the role
The Performance Officer will proactively support the Programme Manager in achieving overall effectiveness, management, and development of contract performance for building maintenance, compliance, projects, and related technical term contracts across Housing Investment & Asset Management.
The post holder will support the provision of effective planning, preparation, presentation, management, monitoring, and control of all contractual input and output performance and legislative requirements, including facilitating and minuting core meetings.
This role is part of a very busy team that works across all areas of Housing Investment & Asset Management. The post holder must be able to manage change effectively and support others to do so. There is a great deal of senior management accountability; our team is at the heart of supporting them.

The role is full-time at 37 hours per week, of which a minimum of 60% time will be in the office.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
