Smile education are recruiting for an SEN teacher with SEN experience to work in a school to teacher Science for 3 days a week, Wednesday to Friday. The role would be working at a school with a tight knit staff team and SLT support.
The role would be long term and part time, ongoing role with potential to become permanent.
The responsibilities of the SEN Teacher role:
* Plan and deliver captivating core subject lessons to students in line with the curriculum
* Focus on creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that helps student engagement and critical thinking
* assess and evaluate student progress, offer constructive feedback and nurturing a love for learning will be central to your role.
* Be able to structure lesson plans for different level of student needs.
To apply for this SEN Teacher role, you will need the following:
* A bachelor’s degree in education, science or a related field.
* Teaching certification or QTS.
* Proficiency in the secondary curriculum and effective instructional techniques.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for teaching and motivating students to excel.
* Have experience or the desire to work within an SEN setting.
