Job Description
West Midlands Safari Park is currently recruiting for the position of Food & Beverage Supervisor. This exciting role offers a fantastic opportunity to experience working in and managing fast-paced, high-volume kitchens; leading a small team in preparing, cooking, presenting, and serving menu items within our Restaurants.
You will be of crucial assistance to the Food & Beverage Deputy Manager in delivering high-quality food consistency and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in any of our outlets, whilst ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our multi-site operation. Other areas of our department will see you managing a set cluster of outlets including Sweet Shops, Refreshment Kiosks, and smaller takeaway Food Courts to ensure our Guests' expectations are exceeded.
About You
The role requires someone who has excellent interpersonal skills, an ability to work well in busy periods, remaining calm under pressure, as well as working quickly and efficiently. You should have a passion for food together with the ability to prioritise, organise, and manage a team whilst meeting Food Safety requirements. You will have gained a Level 2 Food Safety qualification or equivalent, although full training will be provided. Ideally, we are looking for someone with previous supervisory experience in a team-leading position.
You will need to be flexible in your approach to work outside of standard business hours, including weekends, bank holidays, and evenings.
