Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Stevenage
Salary Scale: £460-£500 per week
Contract type: Long Term Contract, 5 days a week, 8:30 - 15:30
SEMH Teaching Assistant Requirements:
* Personal/Professional experience with children and/or young people is desirable but not essential
* A caring individual with energy, drive and enthusiasm.
* Ability to work as part of team, alongside teaching and support staff
* Willing to support a pupil with personal care where necessary.
* Able to use their initiative to support learning.
* Passion to support children and young people with special educational needs
What you'll need:
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to get one.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Local commute to Stevenage
* Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification, at level 2 or above.
* The passion to help learners and develop your career in education and training sector.
