Key Responsibilities:
F-gas Handling: Safely handle, maintain, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Soldering: Perform soldering tasks, such as connecting components, repairing damaged systems, and assembling equipment to a high standard.
Stock Management: Oversee the storage and inventory of F-gas cylinders and equipment, ensuring proper documentation and stock rotation.
Leak Detection and Repair: Use industry-standard tools to detect leaks in systems, repair faults, and maintain systems according to F-gas regulations.
Health & Safety: Follow all company health and safety procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE and emergency response actions in case of leaks or accidents.
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain accurate records of F-gas usage and emissions in compliance with local and international regulations.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse and technical teams to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.Requirements:
F-gas Certification: You must have a valid F-gas handling qualification (Category 1, 2, or 3 depending on experience).
Soldering Experience: Practical experience in soldering for electrical and mechanical systems, including familiarity with relevant techniques and safety practices.
Warehouse Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or operational environment is desirable, with the ability to lift heavy items and work with industrial equipment.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of refrigeration and air conditioning systems, with a focus on F-gas systems.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring all systems are correctly installed, maintained, and meet regulatory standards.
Team Player: Ability to work as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
Health and Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety regulations, particularly regarding the handling of hazardous materials like F-gases.Desirable:
Previous experience working with refrigeration systems or F-gas equipment.
Basic mechanical/electrical skills.
