Create and present financial models and reports. • Continuously monitor cost of services and perform Total Cost of Ownership studies. • Manage central financial control centre to promote cost transparency. • Identify and categorize services by sub-accounts. • Help develop the billing and analytics engines of the centralized decision-making portal. • Meet with individual customers to review and optimize their specific cloud instance spend as directed by the Government. Required Qualifications: WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED • Education: Bachelor degree • Required Experience: 10 years of experience with IT systems to include 5 years of experience with cloud systems; 3 years of cloud financial/economics experience; 3 years of project experience in a multi-cloud environment / AWS • Required Skills And Abilities: • Knowledge of specific FinOps tools such as KION, Apptio, CloudChkr and cloud native cost optimization tools • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and development teams. • Strong communication skills, oral and written, to convey cloud technologies and solutions to customer personnel. • Experience with relational databases, data extraction, and data analysis tools • Understanding of industry best practices related to Cloud resource tagging and tagging enforcement through automation.
