The ideal candidates will have significant on-site experience, particularly in multi-development projects like flats, apartments, hotels, or houses. A Black Manager CSCS Card, SMSTS certificate, and First Aid Certificate are highly desirable. Our developments are fast-paced, and you will need to be assertive and calm under pressure in order to achieve critical objectives, without compromising quality standards, and meet numerous construction deadlines, whilst liaising with a wide range of external contractors, suppliers, and in-house teams across different business functions. Reporting to the Contracts Manager the Site Manager will manage a building site to ensure that the development is built to Company and NHBC standards using specified drawings and instructions, within budget and on programme. You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of site-based project and manage the control and delivery of our construction projects supervising all direct labour and ensuring that all work is kept on programme. You will assist and promote the important of customer relations to the site-based team and ensure that health, safety, and environmental performance standards are achieved. What you will do: Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to site team. Fostering a culture of excellent. Project Oversight: Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure that a development is built to Company and NHBC standards within budget and on programme. Safety Focus: Prioritise and enforce strict safety standards on-site, ensuring the well-being of our site team and visitors. Your Attributes You will bring: Experience & Knowledge: A background in trades, supervisory roles, or site management. Preferably holds or is working towards NVQ Level 3 or NVQ Level 4 in Site Management, with a preference for those on the NHBC Manager Accreditation programme. CSCS Card: Required at an appropriate level. Tech Savvy: Proficient in computer skills with experience in data input, as this is a key aspect of the role. Problem-Solver: Initiative and sound decision-making in day-to-day site operations. Team Player: Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. You will have: Hold a valid UK Driving License The ability to learn policies and procedures quickly and efficiently. Excellent ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
