Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Administrator to join our growing team. This pivotal role will support the smooth running of our sales operations, ensuring the team can deliver outstanding service to our clients. The successful candidate will take on a variety of administrative responsibilities, act as a key point of contact for customers, and help maintain accurate records to support the sales process.
It would be beneficial for the candidate to live in/around the Hungerford area (RG), as there will be requirements to attend the office a few times per week.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Team Support: Assist the sales team with the preparation of quotes, proposals, and contracts, ensuring all documents are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
2. Order Management: Process customer orders, including entering data into our CRM system and liaising with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
3. Customer Liaison: Serve as a key contact for customer enquiries, providing updates and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
4. CRM Maintenance: Keep our CRM system up-to-date by accurately maintaining customer and sales records.
5. Reporting: Produce regular reports for the sales team, tracking progress against targets and providing insights into the sales pipeline.
6. Team Coordination: Work closely with colleagues in sales, marketing, and operations to ensure the smooth delivery of projects and services.
7. General Administration: Undertake a range of administrative duties, including diary management, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
Skills and Experience:
1. Previous experience in a sales administration, sales coordination, or similar role.
2. Excellent organisational skills with a strong eye for detail.
3. Proficiency in using CRM systems, (Dynamics preferably) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
6. A customer-focused attitude with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
7. Familiarity with the public transport or technology industries is advantageous but not essential.
