Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Ashford and St Peter's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is every bit as special as the babies we care for.
We are the Lead level 3 NICU for Surrey and part of the Surrey, Sussex and Kent Network, providing expert care for 28 of the sickest and most complex babies using the most up to date ventilatory support techniques such as Vapotherm in the delivery room, Cooling Therapy and Nitric Oxide.
We have an 8 bedded Transitional Care Unit (TCU) where Mothers can remain with their babies up until discharge. Our focus is on Family Integrated Care throughout the babies' journey and we host the Surrey arm of the Neonatal Transport Service.
We are looking to recruit Band 6 nurses who are ready to work in an innovative environment where every team member makes a difference.
As a nurse at St Peters, you will be a role model to all your team members and your experience at any level will be valued.
As a Band 6 neonatal nurse you will be supported through your career journey to develop the skills and confidence to deputise and manage the unit in the absence of the Band 7 Sisters, you will also be a regular mentor to Band 5 nurses doing the Intensive Care Course.
