Job Description
We are looking to recruit a Junior Microsoft 365 Technical Specialist to join our digital workplace team.
The role of the Junior M365 technical specialist is to work closely with our existing Technical Teams and operational business to support our dedicated, security-focused, M365 tenant.
Working with our senior specialists, you will also be responsible for M365 administration, supporting and training our users, as well as the configuration and maintenance of the environment.
We believe this is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have previously worked in first line IT support roles within Microsoft environments and wish to further specialise and develop their skills in a small team and stretch themselves within this business focused environment.
Please note that all applicants must currently be residing in the UK and be eligible for UK Security Clearance to be considered for this role.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assist in the administration and support of an enterprise-level deployment of Microsoft Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint (sub sites, lists, libraries, and templates) etc.
2. Troubleshoot M365 related issues including connectivity and mobility when alerted by monitoring software or staff
3. Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting and resolving M365-related issues, as well as leading them through the on-boarding process.
4. Support the use of the PowerPlatform for currently deployed apps and solutions (Power Apps, Automate, BI, and Pages).
5. Training and educating end-users on M365 capabilities and collaboration tools (OneDrive, Teams, OneNote, Outlook etc.)
6. Collaborate with senior IT specialists to implement and maintain security policies, data protection, and access controls within the M365 environment.
7. Assist the senior technical staff to create and maintain documentation of Microsoft 365 processes and procedures, and supporting apps.
Qualifications
Skills and experience
8. Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 applications and services.
9. Experienced with cloud computing concepts as they apply to Microsoft 365.
10. Experienced in providing technical support to IT teams and end-user support to individuals.
11. Experience administering M365, Exchange, Entra ID, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
12. Experience or interest in using Microsoft’s PowerPlatform as a toolset used to enhance or streamline business processes by building applications, dashboards, or process automation.

Desirable qualifications
19. Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
20. Any relevant IT certifications (, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-100)) etc. are a plus.
