We are representing a leading multidisciplinary consultancy specialising in the built environment who are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to add to their Building Services team in Bristol.

Key responsibilities:
Lead the electrical design aspects of projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical engineering solutions into overall project designs.
Provide technical expertise in the design and specification of electrical systems for a variety of building types.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Engage with clients to understand their needs, present design solutions, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing electrical systems and propose improvements.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve engineering services.
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
6+ years proven experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the built environment sector.
Chartered Engineer status or working towards is desirable.
In-depth knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Proficiency in using electrical design software and other engineering tools.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
