Job Title: Temporary Works Supervisor/ Co-ordinator Location: [Chester] Job Type: [Contract] Site based Salary: [(Apply online only) per day] Job Summary: Due to continued company expansion and New Projects C&D Engineering Consultants are hiring multiple Temporary Works Supervisors/ Co-ordinators for a large-scale industrial construction project based in the Chester area. C&D are an Award-Winning Engineering Consultancy that prioritise safe methods of working on some of the largest Projects Worldwide. We are seeking a Temporary Works Supervisor to oversee and ensure the safe implementation of temporary works on-site. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating temporary works activities, ensuring compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the execution of temporary works on-site. Ensure all temporary works are installed, used, maintained, and dismantled safely. Conduct site inspections and ensure all temporary works meet the required safety and quality standards. Identify and report any risks, defects, or non-compliance issues related to temporary works. Maintain accurate records of temporary works activities, including permits, drawings, and inspections. Communicate effectively with site teams, contractors, and designers to ensure smooth execution of temporary works. Assist in briefing the workforce on temporary works requirements and best practices. Ensure that any modifications or alterations to temporary works are approved before implementation. Support incident investigations related to temporary works and implement corrective actions. Key Requirements: Experience in supervising temporary works within large scale construction projects. Knowledge of Temporary Works Procedures and relevant safety regulations. Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS) training/certification (CITB or equivalent preferred). Strong understanding of health & safety standards, including CDM Regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and method statements. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively with different teams on-site. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills: Experience working on similar industrial construction projects. Knowledge of BS 5975 Temporary Works Code of Practice.
