Location: Edgbaston, Birmingham
Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a full-time Head of Department to effectively lead and manage our partnered Secondary School's Physical Education Faculty. You will be responsible for improving teaching and learning within the department, developing staff in their team and developing the PE curriculum across the school. You will also have planning, marking and extracurricular responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the PE department.
• Develop and implement a PE curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
• Promote a positive and inclusive PE culture.
• Support and mentor PE teachers across the school.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Qualified PE teacher with a proven track record of leadership.
• Strong subject knowledge and expertise in a variety of sports and activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in developing and implementing PE curriculums.
To be successful within this role, you must be able to prove an outstanding record of supporting other PE teachers and developing/implementing the UK Physical Education Curriculum.
