My client is a leading contractor working on a major Water Framework in the North West, delivering essential infrastructure and solutions for water networks. As they continue to grow their project delivery team, they are seeking a skilled Freelance MEICA Engineer to join the team for ongoing projects in this critical sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) engineering support across water treatment and distribution projects.
Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of MEICA systems in line with project specifications and industry standards.
Ensure that all engineering work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure the efficient delivery of projects.
Conduct site assessments, troubleshooting, and fault-finding on MEICA systems.
Prepare technical reports, method statements, risk assessments, and other documentation as required.Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a MEICA Engineer, ideally in the water industry.
Strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation systems.
Experience working within the UK water sector, particularly on water frameworks or large-scale water treatment projects.
