️Business Development Manager/Client Manager

Bristol/UK Wide - Working Patterns: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (hybrid working – travel to client sites + main office). The main office is in Bristol but clients are predominantly on the M4 corridor/50 miles from Bristol, but some travel UK wide might be required. They are willing to consider candidates UK wide as long as you can get to the client sites as required.
This is a fantastic senior client facing role with responsibility for Business Development and Client/Account Management, as well as overseeing client accounts/projects and managing a team for our Consultancy client.
You will act as the SME in NetZero, Climate Change and Sustainability, seeking out new business opportunities with a range of clients across Defence, Nuclear, Public Sector, IT or Infrastructure.
The Key Responsibilities:
* Your key responsibility will be Business Development and Client/Account Management for new and existing clients in NetZero and Sustainability.
* Take ownership of a Large Account/Client, being the interface between the company and their client.
* You will identify new growth opportunities and develop relationships with clients, partners and sub-contractors.
* Support bids and tenders.
* Oversee client Accounts and Projects to ensure delivery and performance, and leading case studies/workshops.
* Perform/support project/programme assurance and risk assessments.
* Lead an internal team, implementing the strategy and objectives of the Clients/Accounts.
Below is a list of Key Skills:
* Experience leading an Account/Client relationship within NetZero/Sustainability within a Consulting environment.
* Demonstrable experience within business development and client growth strategies.
* Experience in defining, managing and delivering complex projects, programmes and portfolios.
* Recent experience of working within the MOD, Nuclear, Public Sector, IT or Infrastructure programmes.
* Leadership of Programme assurance reviews on projects of increasing size and complexity.
* Expertise in multiple planning management and control disciplines.
* Comfortable leading the delivery of project management, risk and opportunity management.
* Ability to bid manage complex proposals,
* Ability to lead multi-disciplinary Programme teams, managing performance and delivery.
* Knowledge and experience in some of the following: Climate Change, Sustainability, Social Value, NetZero, Decommissioning, Waste or Environmental Management.
