Job Title: Cluster Hotel Financial Controller
Location: Based in Birmingham with monthly travel to site hotel.
Salary: £60,000 per year
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cluster Financial Controller to oversee financial operations for well-established hotels based in the West Midlands and Berkshire.
Reporting directly to the hotel owners, this pivotal role involves managing all financial reporting, including:
1. Overseeing profit and loss accounts for the hotel.
2. Managing hotel payroll.
3. Leading annual audits.
4. Controlling all financial processes and operations.
This is a hands-on role, supported by a Group FC to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Skills and Experience
1. Proven expertise in self-accounting within a single or cluster hotel environment.
2. Proven experience and knowledge of producing month-end and year-end hotel accounting processes.
3. Experience with Opera, Sales & Catering, Fourth payroll, Sage Line 50, and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable.
4. Payroll knowledge is essential.
5. Exceptional leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
6. Commercially astute, with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
7. Must ideally be able to commute between 2 hotel sites monthly.
