SEN Teaching Assistant | 1:1 Behaviour Support | £80-£100 Per Day | Enfield, North London

This role is ideal for someone who can set clear boundaries, use positive behaviour strategies, and provide emotional and academic support to pupils struggling with engagement.
The Role:
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Behaviour Support).
Salary: £80-£100 per day, depending on experience.
Location: Enfield, North London.
Start Date: Immediate.As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a KS2 pupil who needs structured support to develop emotional regulation skills and engage positively with learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consistent 1:1 support to a pupil with challenging behaviour.
Use clear, structured routines to help the pupil feel safe and engaged.
Implement de-escalation techniques and maintain a calm learning environment.
Support social and emotional development through mentoring, structured play, and confidence-building activities.
Liaise with the SENCO, class teacher, and external specialists to ensure effective behaviour management strategies are in place.
What We're Looking For:
Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, or Pastoral Support Worker.
A patient, empathetic, and strong-willed approach to working with children with behavioural needs.
Confidence in implementing behaviour support strategies such as restorative approaches and emotional coaching.
Ability to build trust and maintain firm but fair boundaries with pupils.
Understanding of ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and trauma-informed practice (preferred but not essential).
