Why not join one of our many teams of Meals on Wheels staff within Fife?
We have casual vacancies to join our teams of Driver / Handlers at Meals on Wheels, in Buckhaven. This post ensures meals are delivered to the homes of service users who have pre ordered meals. Hours are mainly between 10am to 2pm over 7 days a week - This post is casual which means you could be asked to work any day of the week.
Casual staff receive payments in lieu of annual leave for hours worked.
You will earn a competitive rate of pay at £12.67 per hour and have access to a range of benefits, including:
* We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.67 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
* Access to and support with training opportunities and qualifications for the job.

This work is about providing daily delivery of meals to service users on a specified daily route. Advising line manager regarding client welfare if required along with an understanding of client confidentiality. Completing relevant paperwork and general kitchen duties. Training to achieve an Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate will be given.

The Person
* A full driving licence is essential for this post.
* Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
