We are seeking, in Saudi Arabia, highly skilled Quality Manager – Continuous Improvement to join a major infrastructure project.
This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, and quality management.
Main Responsibilities:
Continuous Improvement & Quality Management:
1. Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the project.
2. Apply Lean & Six Sigma tools (PDCA, DMAIC) to improve processes and project quality.
3. Oversee quality management for large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g., hotels, highways, malls).
4. Identify areas for improvement, develop solutions, and track results.
Training & Development:
1. Provide training in Lean/Excellence & Continuous Improvement methodologies to project teams and supervisors.
2. Facilitate workshops, Value Stream Mapping, and Rapid Improvement Events.
Process Standardization & Documentation:
1. Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and job aids to standardize construction processes and best practices.
2. Create and manage documentation such as guidelines, checklists, and templates.
Reporting & Stakeholder Management:
1. Monitor project performance, report on progress, and suggest corrective actions.
2. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to share best practices and ensure quality standards.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (preferably construction-related).
2. Lean Construction, Six Sigma (Green Belt), or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is highly desirable.
3. Project Management certification is a plus.
Experience:
1. 8+ years in construction quality and continuous improvement, with at least 5 years of international experience.
2. Proven track record of applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies in large-scale infrastructure projects (hotels, highways, buildings, malls).
3. Experience with digital Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
