The Head of Risk and Resilience will support the Director of Safety, Wellbeing and Resilience in ensuring the University is fully compliant with legal duties and the implementation of the ambitious 5-year Safety, Wellbeing and Resilience Strategy “A Culture of Care”. FTE : 1.0 (35 hours per week) As a qualified and experienced risk and resilience professional, you will provide competent leadership and management as a Senior Manager within the Safety, Wellbeing and Resilience Directorate. You will have responsibility for leading, developing, implementing, managing and embedding the Corporate Risk Management Framework, including the Business Continuity Management (BCM) Framework, and associated emergency response measures to safeguard the delivery of university services and critical business functions. You will have excellent organisational and planning skills, an outstanding track record of supporting colleagues across a large and complex organisation, and the ability to review and monitor arrangements to ensure continuous improvement. You will hold a relevant degree; have a sound knowledge of the regulatory framework as it applies to risk management and experience of leading and managing a team. You should have significant risk/business continuity management experience and knowledge of safety and security management responsibilities, ideally within a Higher Education environment and hold appropriate qualifications to that effect or be willing to work towards them.
