Paediatric Nurse
Job description
By joining us as a 'paediatric nurse', you will not only be delivering high-quality care but also be the face of Sciensus with increased job satisfaction by providing holistic one-to-one care within the patient's own home or school setting.
You will be part of an ambitious team, empowering each patient by offering personalised support.
This position is to assist our Southampton team. You will be contracted to 37.5 hours per week, typically working shifts between the hours of 8am - 6pm, with occasional weekend availability to assist with business demands.
A typical day will see you visiting up to 10 patients. You will be treating renal conditions, MPS disorders, and biological therapies. This role will allow you to build rapport with the patient and their family as treatment is provided until adulthood.

What is required?
In addition to being a great clinician, success in this position will require you to work autonomously, be an empathetic listener, and have adaptable communication and problem-solving abilities.
Alongside this, you will need to be confident in independently and safely taking bloods, cannulating, and administering IV therapies, whilst actively monitoring the patient and reporting any adverse effects in line with company processes.
It is essential that you hold a valid NMC Certificate and a UK drivers' licence, with no more than 6 points.
