The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of finance and accounting processes, combined with strong analytical and communication skills. They will be comfortable with operating semi-independently and being able to proactively deliver the necessary deliverables and outcomes, liaising with other team members, vendors, and Finance SMEs where necessary. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of our finance system.
What you will be doing
* Lead the development of as-is and to-be finance processes, working with other BAs, functional leads, and Finance team SMEs.
* Conduct handoffs to other dependent workstreams, explaining completed business processes to support business training content creation, business process testing, and security role creation/enhancement.

* Support the completion of reporting catalogue content and engage with report developers to enable accurate report development and appropriate customization.
* Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating effective communication, managing expectations, and addressing concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
* Create comprehensive, clear, and concise requirement documentation, including business process flows, use cases, user stories, functional and non-functional specifications, and other artifacts necessary for development and implementation.
* Conduct testing of the ERP system to validate that it meets defined requirements and functions as expected. Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve any issues or defects.
* Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure user-friendly interfaces that align with both business needs and best design practices.
* Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, and sprint reviews to provide insights and clarification on business requirements, as well as address any questions or concerns from development teams.
* Assist in user training and provide ongoing support to the user base during the post-implementation phase, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system and addressing any concerns that arise.

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of change.
* Keen to collaborate with others, knowing that the best results come from pooling ideas, experience, and expertise.

* Ideally specific training and qualification(s) in Business Analysis.
