Position: Senior Production Technologist

Zenith Energy is seeking a Senior Production Technologist to provide Wells Operations Readiness support for the preplanning startup commissioning monitoring and surveillance phases of three upcoming projects. This role involves both parttime hours during business hours in the preplanning and postcommissioning phases (lasting several months) and 12hour shifts 7 days a week during the well commissioning phase (lasting one or more weeks).
Key Responsibilities:
* Support well operations readiness for preplanning of well startup and commissioning.
* Prepare well startup plans procedures contingency and troubleshooting guides.
* Provide 24hour support during well startup including responding to anomalies confirming operability and integrity and managing wells within limits.
* Split 24hour support into two 12hour shifts per day.
* Manage close out and handover post well commissioning.
* Ensure all activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
Project Timeline:
* Project 1: RFSU March 2025
* Project 2: RFSU August 2025
* Project 3: RFSU November 2025

Requirements
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in production technology and well operations.
* Strong understanding of well startup and commissioning processes.
* Prior experience in well or system monitoring and reporting.
* Understanding of well integrity issues and well modeling.
* Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.

Production Technologist Experience with an operator during RFSU Experience of well surveillance for management and operation of wells Ability to monitor performance and understand well operating parameters o Use of excel o Use of Production database (Babelfish/P2) Ability to identify and assess integrity issues from an approved baseline o Understanding of production and technical integrity limits and monitoring requirements for a well and why they are necessary o Ability to assess the consequences if these limits are breached. Capable of updating and running well performance/integrity models such as Prosper/Gap, NETool and Wellcat. o Ability to create the models is not required as these will be handed over as-built and for use from D&C engineers.
