Our client based in Lisahally, is looking for an Admin Officer to join their team
Job Description:
- Will be working as part of the ‘Move to UC’ team as a case manager supporting claimants through the managed migration process as they make a claim to Universal Credit through award calculation. You will also be at the forefront providing insight to contribute to the evolving design and learning that will shape the customer experience as we scale in 2024 / 2025.
Main Duties include:
Answering calls within agreed timescales, taking personal responsibility to maximise availability for answering calls and delivering an accessible, effective service.
Working collaboratively to deliver results and the ability to work within and contribute to a team environment.
Ability to work in a pressurised telephony environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build rapport with colleagues and customers.
Ability to work accurately within set deadlines and to achieve targets.
Basic IT skills with an aptitude for learning new systems.
Being organised with good time management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Some element of home working will be required.
Leave is not permitted during the first 5 weeks to facilitate a period of training and consolidation. Hybrid working will be considered after a period of time.
The Telephony lines will be open from 8am – 6pm
Essential Criteria:
- 5 GCSEs including maths and english (certificate proof required)
- Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to use own initiative.
Wage:
- £12.59ph (weekly)

Work Pattern:
- The contracted hours are 8am - 8pm Monday – Friday and every 4th Saturday on a rota basis. However, at present staff are working various shift patterns between 8.00 – 6.00 Monday to Friday. DWP business areas in Northern Ireland adhere to Great Britain Easter Public Holidays and jobholder will be required to observe Easter Public Holidays of Good Friday and Easter Monday
