Top 200 Law firm with offices based in Southampton seek a Corporate Paralegal to join the corporate team. Core duties will include:
5. Completing Corporate and company secretarial matters
6. Creation and maintenance of company statutory books and records
7. Managing company secretarial database
8. Companies House filings
9. Processing company incorporations
10. Preparing Companies House forms and routine company secretarial documents
11. Managing registered office post
12. Administering company secretarial client matters
13. Undertaking post completion work on corporate matters including preparing bibles of documents and stamp duty applications
14. Generating potential new work and assisting others in so doing
15. Attend professional networking functions, business clubs, and client events, corporate hospitality, etc
16. To assist with departmental administration
17. To assist with other general administrative duties as required
18. Draft legal documents from instructions taken by qualified team members
19. To maintain databases as required
20. To review and note interim quarterly reports
21. Responds promptly to clients (as required) and colleagues
22. Ensures a speedy turnaround of work
23. Contributes pro-actively to departmental matters
24. Other general Corporate work
Ideal Candidates must have the following:
25. Up to date legal knowledge
26. Previous Corporate or company secretarial experience (desirable)
27. Awareness of the entire range of services that the firm can offer
28. Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
29. Ability to effectively deal with clients and provide a high level of service
30. Ability and willingness to assist with networking and marketing
31. Enthusiastic team player
