We are a fast-paced business with plenty of opportunities for growth so if this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you JOB PURPOSE Responsible for maximising the company's profitability and business development within Devon area in line with the overall budget and the sales targets set and agreed. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This is an important role within Maen Karne, with primary responsibility to: Managing the budget for Devon area in line with approved targets. Managing key relationships with managers and their sales teams in the above areas. Setting the area strategy with Commercial Director for the region. Managing and developing effective relationships with the key suppliers and hauliers identified within strategy. Working with the Commercial Director to assist with the training and development of the internal coordinators. Identifying new business opportunities within the region to explore further with the Sales manager. To lead planned training sessions with coordinators on selling techniques/ material training. To present a monthly area update and plan with joint objectives and goals for the team. To identify marketing ideas that will engage customer and add value to region. To liaise with the sales co-ordinators and other colleagues within your area in order to promote and maximise additional revenue opportunities. Maintain awareness of competitor activity within the area and any potential impact this may have. Ensure accuracy of all reports and paperwork and submit them to required deadlines. Any other additional tasks as may be required by the Sales Manager or Commercial Director. KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB Must have previous sales experience. (Would suit an internal sales representative looking to further their career) Knowledge of the Construction Industry desirable. Clean driving Licence. BENEFITS 20 days paid Holiday Bank Holidays.
