Programming Assistant - Stafford
Summary
We're looking for a Programming Assistant to join the team. You’ll assist in the delivery and development of a programme of activities and events from running visitors activity sessions to researching external suppliers to painting props and everything in between. By doing so, you’ll help to create an enjoyable experience for everyone that visits and help them understand more about our place.
Salary: 14,917.50 per annum
Contract duration: Fixed term contract until 31st December 2025
Hours/working pattern: 22.5 hours per week. You'll work 3 days per week including weekends and bank holidays.

What it's like to work here
Reporting to our Visitor Experience Officer for Programming, you’ll work with a team of volunteers at Shugborough Estate to support and deliver seasonal activities as well as planning and preparing for future seasonal moments. From Christmas to Easter to the great big Summer of Play, the estate is busy and lively and loves to highlight seasonal moments. You'll help support the planning and delivery of these highlights.
What you'll be doing
Working with the team you'll create and deliver events and activities that bring our place to life for our visitors all year round. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. You’ll help link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do. You’ll deliver high standards of presentation on site and ensure all our communications with our visitors around the property is clear and consistent including the design and production of signage and interpretation.
