The ideal candidate will be proficient in surgeries and possess strong diagnostic abilities and knowledge of veterinary medicine. They should have at least 1 years' experience and excel in communication, effectively interacting with both pet owners and colleagues. Additionally, the role requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a well-equipped practice with a varied caseload, allowing you to further develop your skills while making a significant impact on patients' lives. The practice will also soon be relocating to a brand-new purpose-built premises!
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will handle a range of tasks, from performing routine and emergency surgeries to diagnosing and treating illnesses. Your responsibilities include providing preventative care, collaborating with other professionals, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will also participate in an out-of-hours rota, with options for time off in lieu or a shorter working week.
The practice is close to the scenic Somerset Levels and the beautiful Bridgwater Bay Nature Reserve. This provides ample opportunities for outdoor activities like walking, cycling, and bird-watching. The area offers excellent transport links, including easy access to the M5 motorway, which connects to major cities like Bristol and Exeter.
