We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented People Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic People team. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient People operations across the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and the Caribbean.
As a People Operations Coordinator, you will provide essential administrative support, manage key People processes, maintain accurate employee records, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. You will work closely with various teams to facilitate onboarding, payroll, and benefits coordination, contributing to a seamless employee experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual with up to a year of experience, eager to gain hands-on exposure in a fast-paced environment. The role offers broad involvement in People Operations, supported by an experienced team, and the chance to develop valuable skills within a growing global People function.
Key Accountabilities:
* Provide essential administrative support to the People team, ensuring smooth and efficient People operations.
* Assist with onboarding, including preparing offer letters, employment contracts, conducting Right to Work checks, setting up systems, and coordinating induction activities.
* Be the first point of contact for employees, handling queries related to People policies, benefits, and procedures with a helpful and solutions-focused approach.
* Ensure People systems and records are up to date, maintaining data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations.
* Support payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accurate data entry and timely processing.
* Process People team invoices, ensuring timely approvals and tracking.
* Assist with offboarding, including preparing exit documentation and deactivating system access.
* Provide day-to-day administrative support, including scheduling, reporting, and handling ad-hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a People/HR administrative role or a related position is desirable but not essential.
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with an interest in learning HR systems (HRIS).
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and approachable manner.
* Discreet and trustworthy, able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
* Proactive and eager to learn, with a flexible mindset to adapt to new challenges.
* Resilient and agile, able to navigate change in a fast-growing and evolving organisation.
* Positive, can-do attitude, with a problem-solving approach.
* Comfortable with ambiguity, able to work independently while also collaborating as part of a team.
