Crest Nicholson's South West Division are recruiting for a Planner to join their team based in our offices in Stoke Gifford.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide planning appraisals on all potential development sites.
* Responsible for submission and strategy for all planning applications (to include s106 agreements and appeals where necessary)
* Build relationships with external consultants including negotiating scope of works and budget.
* Provide assistance and advice to the team on all planning matters.
* Responsible for managing, researching and monitoring Local Plan preparation to inform site searches in key regions.
* Review planning conditions (Outline/RM), produce Condition Trackers and collate information from the Technical Team to discharge conditions.
* Other duties as required.
What are we looking for in a successful candidate?
* Relevant Degree or Diploma
* Experience in the housebuilding industry or consulting.
* Highly competent in computer skills, including emails, Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint.
* Some public sector experience an advantage but not essential
* Flexible approach to work.
* Excellent organisational skills.
