Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Duties
* Assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
* Develop and implement care plans tailored to the specific needs of each individual.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care.
* Provide support in childcare settings, including supervising activities and ensuring a safe environment.
* Maintain accurate records of progress and any changes in behaviour or condition.
* Drive clients to appointments or activities as needed, ensuring they arrive safely and on time.
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
* Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere that encourages independence and personal growth.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with children or in a similar support role is desirable.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
* Familiarity with developing care plans is advantageous.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as necessary.
* Basic IT skills are required for record keeping and communication tasks.
* A caring attitude with a commitment to making a difference in the lives of others is essential.
