That's where you come in. We are looking for a band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our well-established team in EastKent. This will be based in Whitstable but involve covering a wider area incorporating other East Kent localities. Our service supportspatients living with respiratory disease, with an emphasis on enablement and support in the community as part of their care pathway. Main duties of the job Band 6 HCPs are expected to be kind and responsive but professional and informative and contribute to the quality of the servicesprovided within the community team across the health economy by: Assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of holistic carelinked to packages of prescribed care or identified projects. The role will include delivery of anxiety management programmes in the home, clinic and group settings to support the psychological wellbeing of respiratory patients. This will also include a high degree ofsymptom management, for example, fatigue management, energy conservation and pacing techniques. Developing integrated care programmes in partnership with senior practitioners and/or commissioners. Supporting in the supervision and development of staff.Actively working as a member of the integrated team to provide high quality care to service users. Undertaking a range of competentclinical and non-clinical interventions to support the outcomes of the service. Acting as lead and senior practitioner to support junior staff carry out assessment/reassessments of service users and/or pathways with complex needs across the relevant field. Supporting andmaking recommendations to senior managers in order to prioritise and focus efforts to drive forward and achieve business objectives,service improvement strategies and statutory requirements.
