You will work closely with senior and operational teams across the business to optimise our property portfolio and drive profitability. The role is in the South and will require a blend of time in our Burton office, in the field and liaison with the Head of Surveying.

This role is a Senior Manager (M1) salary banding
In your role as Senior Surveyor you will...
8. Be responsible and accountable for the regional repairs, maintenance and investment capital budgets ensuring delivery to time, budget and agreed objectives
9. Develop, implement and oversee works programmes that deliver best asset return through enhancing, refining and improving presentation and operating effectiveness
10. Develop your team to deliver best value through strong negotiations with suppliers and contractors
11. Deputise for the Head of Surveying during periods of absence, in particular attending meetings on their behalf with Exec members and key stakeholders requiring ability to challenge decisions and influence strategy
What you will bring...
12. Previous experience multi-site pub/leisure developments
13. Excellent planning and implementation skills
14. Experience of maintaining the property's asset value to enhance, refine and improve its presentation and operating effectiveness
15. Extensive property management experience, a proven executive team influence, and will demonstrate outstanding commitment and innovation in this role
16. Persuasiveness – Ability to make a persuasive, clear presentation of ideas or facts

Qualifications
Ideally, hold a professional industry-recognised qualification: RICS, MBEng, CIOB or similar.
