We are looking for a highly driven individual to join our Sales team at Mitsubishi Pencil. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious team player who has a real drive to deliver both growth and value within their selected customer base. You will be a key member of the sales team, with the responsibility of growing a key brand for the Mitsubishi Pencil portfolio.
About the Role:
As the Internal Sales Executive, you will be tasked with the objective of calling and managing a number of key independent retailer accounts, while supporting other members of the external sales team. This is a predominantly Telesales based role with emphasis on customer interaction to deliver sales growth.
Responsibilities:
* Accountability for a number of key independent high street retailers:, responsibility to grow both sales and profitability
* Complete both inbound & outbound calls: Responsible for sales calls to existing customer plus taking incoming calls from your customer base
* Hit and exceed call and sales targets – Maintain required call frequency
* Maintain excellent working relationships with existing customers: Using your experience to develop an understanding of your customers and their business
* Obtain and organise customer and prospect visits for the external salesperson: Support External Account Manager & arrange customer visits if required from your customer
* Attend monthly sales meetings: Attend and contribute to the monthly Sales and marketing meeting
* Quote prices to customer as and when required: Responsibility for pricing for your set of customers, maintaining their price files and margin.
* Answer technical questions from our product range: Once fully trained you will be one of the go to staff members for technical information.
* Provide admin support for the external sales team: Support the external sales team for any tasks that may be easily carried out by an office based member of the team.
What We’re Looking For:
* A minimum of 2 years’ sales experience, either within a telesales environment or within an account management role
* An excellent understanding of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
* Flexibility on daily working hours, if required
* Ability to analyse sales figures and pick out any key factors to help drive sales
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Negotiation skills
* Ability to work in a team
* The drive to continuously grow sales and margin
* A high level of confidence to make external calls and support customers
