The role of Commis Chef is to support the Chef De Partie in running various stations of a busy new kitchen and preparing fresh ingredients in a 110 cover restaurant concept. The food style is very high quality, freshly prepared small plates with a Mexican/Californian inspiration. Food is served family style and is cooked/served fresh to order, with plates going to tables as they are ready, based on daily preparation in advance.
You will be expected to ensure that the highest standards are met for food preparation and service.
Experience of similar small plate service would be advantageous but not essential.
Total salary package to include Tronc: £12.21 p/h depending on experience.
